Add, move or remove licence domains

A licence is activated on the domains where the software runs. Each plan includes a number of production domains (usually one). Staging and development domains are free and do not count towards the limit.

Add a domain

1. Open Licences in your account and choose the licence.
2. Under Activated domains, enter the domain (for example shop.example.com) and choose the type.
3. Select Add domain.

You can type the address with or without https:// and www.; we store the clean domain name.

Move the licence to another store

Select Deactivate next to the current production domain, then add the new one. The software on the old domain stops validating at its next check.

Activation from the extension

When you save the licence key inside the extension, it can also register the domain for you automatically, as long as a production slot is free.
